Apartment checks, who couldn't love these guys, stopping by old ruins (Wasserburg Kapellendorf built around 1050), old cemeteries (although this one is pretty new), and exploring museums we are packing as much into these last few weeks as we possibly can!

We also walked through the Krambrucke and enjoyed the quaint sights (this little lady was wearing everything yarn), were amused by some businesses (meat market, hotel and catering service all in one), loved the inventive way of placing stools on the street to save your parking place, and just enjoyed the beautiful streets. We LOVE this place!! We also did some teaching, some cooking and some meetings!

All of this and more happened this last week end. Friday we started out early and went to a double zone conference in Nurnberg. Saturday we drove to Erfurt for a Distrikt Konferenz. Along the way we found a "Western Disneyland" German-style. Isn't that a great covered wagon ferris wheel! Sunday we drove back to Erfurt for the remainder of the conference and a baptism. All of these missionaries are so great to be with - they can teach with power but they can also be silly. We found out we are moving up the street in a couple of weeks. I knew it would be hard to tell all of these wonderful friends good bye, I hadn't thought about missing our fabulous view......

What a great week. We saw new things, old things, made new friends, walked, shopped, and ate. Our company got to see a little bit of missionary life and activities. It was hard to say good bye but oh, the memories we made!!

We've been asked - why aren't you blogging? Sick? Busy? Nothing going on? Yes, yes and yes. Our beds broke so we had to buy and make new ones, another one of our favorite missionaries got transferred so we had to say good bye to him, a few hours later a new one arrived, we have been sick with normal "Spring" flu (is it still considered Spring when it snows everyday?), and we got company from home. It's been another wonderful month. Most of our students have been gone and now they come back. We're so excited to see them this week.
